Other comics I like to read:Evil Monkey: Not actually a webcomic, but features comics made for print put on his site. Proof that old-school comics made with pen and ink aren't dead! Be sure to read his Hsu and Chan series! Mac Hall: Great comic with fantastic artwork. Good example of why online comics beat newspaper comics any day of the week. Read if you like a mix of college life and video game humor. Penny-Arcade: Seems like you can't have a webcomic without paying some sort of tribute to the godfathers of the genre. If you're into webcomics, then no doubt you've heard of them. If you haven't then I suggest you check them out and let the comics speak for themselves. PVP: Another granddaddy of the webcomic world. Even though it is a webcomic, it is created as if it was ripped right off the newspapers. Clean humor that's not as video game focused as the others, but still nerdy. VG Cats: Last but certainly not the least. This site inspires me as I love the artwork. Another comic with video game related humor, but definitely more raunchy. Enjoy if you're not easily offended. Sites that are not comics:ActionTrip: Pretty much the only site I go to for gaming news. Not a whole lot of coverage though, and it mainly focuses on PC games. I like this site because it's not as ad-ridden as the bigger sites such as Gamespy or IGN. I also like it because the editors seem more interested in their readers and speak their mind more freely. Give them a shot. Offtopic: A forum site that's possibly the largest one around. That makes it the biggest collection of egotistical jerks known to humankind. I don't actually post there, but it's fun to read the stupid things people say and check out the random links they post. Read if you enjoy the irony of people thinking they're a badass because they've made 10,000 posts since 2001, and still live in their mother's basement.
These are sites that I check about on a daily basis. Sorry if most of them are video game related. There are other sites, but I just don't go to them very often. I'll post more as I uncover the skeletons in the great closet known as the world wide web. |

T.J. and Mark is hosted on Comic Genesis, a free webhosting and automation service for webcomics. Thank God, because there's no way I'm paying for this crap. T.J. and Mark © Cameron Ousley. If you steal this stuff I will Mapquest where you live, go to your house and do unspeakable horrors to you. Or we'll just cuddle. Who knows! |
