Comic for Tuesday, November 25, 2003
Captain Anarchy: I decided to use a different type of paper now. Can you tell the difference? It doesn't look like it. However, the paper is quite bigger, giving me more than an inch of length. Hopefully this will make it easier to draw scenes with many characters or actions. The paper is also a bit coarse, allowing the ink to flow better. I've only had one incident of the pen clogging up while inking the comic, and a quick scribble solved that. This paper even makes the pencil marks less visible, which is better for the scanning process, but makes inking tougher. The only downside so far is the penciling. The lines aren't as crisp, and end up looking like crayon. Oh well, time will tell if the paper is suitable for the comics. Although it's doubtful that I'll go back to cheap printer paper! I don't know the specific type of paper it is, but it's built for drawing. As you already know, there's not much else happening. Why else would I make a post entirely about my paper? |
